Solution

A survey of 335 congressional offices by the Congressional Management Foundation shows that personal letters are fifteen times more influential than form letters. [1] Thus, our platform will go beyond the form tools commonly used today.   Instead, we will help citizens move up the spectrum of personal communications to write a personal letter to Congress painlessly.   WriteGreen will create and maintain engagement in the state and national legislative process via legislative tracking, action and update tools.    This in turn, will dramatically improve environmental groups and individual’s effectiveness by creating and maintaining citizen engagement around environmental issues and closing the feedback loop to hold officials accountable.   In addition to improving the impact of action, engaging environmental groups’ members on this level will help with member retention, an issue that plagues most groups.
